My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was perfect, with easy access to cafes, restaurants, and shops, but the noise from the High St was quite bothersome in my cigarette-smelling room. The staff, although helpful in some instances, made me feel a bit unwelcome in the bar area. The dining experience was a redeeming factor with delicious food served, but the bathroom layout was inconvenient with the toilet placement. Overall, it was a decent stay with its ups and downs.

Rooms

My room, unfortunately, had a strong cigarette smell and faced the noisy High St due to its location next to the door for all other rooms. I could have saved money if I booked directly.
Service
6.0
The service was a bit mixed with some staff members being helpful but others making residents feel unwelcome in the bar area.
Location

The hotel's location was perfect for strolling around with plenty of nearby cafes, restaurants, and shops. Despite the noisy surroundings, it was still convenient and close to interesting places.
Dining

The dining experience was the highlight with delicious food, a great way to celebrate my husband's birthday with quality produce.
Facilities

The facilities were satisfactory for my needs, although the bathroom layout was a bit inconvenient under a staircase.

The hotel is conveniently located on the high street with the added bonus of parking just outside the window, offering spacious, clean, and welcoming rooms. However, some minor issues with lighting could have been addressed before our arrival.

The facilities were good but with a DIY feel. More attention to detail could have improved the experience.
